Allgemeines zu Geheimschriften

Die folgende Handschriftenliste basiert auf A. Nievergelt 2009a und 2009b (S. 12 + Anm. 5).

Die Kürzel hinter den Handschriften geben Hinweise zur verwendeten Geheimschrift, die Angaben folgen dabei der Konvention bei A. Nievergelt. 2009a:

• B = bfk-Geheimschrift, C = cgl-Geheimschrift, P = Punktegeheimschrift, R = Runenschrift, G = griechische Schrift, N = Neumengeheimschrift, X = frei erfundene Geheimschrift, V = Vokalpunkte
• T = Es kommt innerhalb der Wörter Teilverschlüsselung vor, (T) = Selten teilverschlüsselt
• M = Es treten Mischformen der Geheimschriften auf.
